About Us

My first encounter with Burmese was in 1997 when I visited a close friend of mine who had two Burmese, a brown and a brown tortie.  I was so taken in by these lively, mischievous little angels that I decided that I had to have 2 for myself!  Unfortunately I had rather a long wait.  After a few years of travelling the world, I moved up to the NorthWest for work and bought a house.  Finally I could have the Burmese I had longed for.  So in 2003 I began the search and thanks to Kaye Wilson (Maharani Burmese) and Maggie Armstrong I was lucky enough to be owned by a choc girl (Josie) and blue boy (Henry). I had never intended to show them, but took them along to the Coventry & Leicester show and have been hooked ever since.  Both of them made it to Premier.  I then decided I would like a lovely brown girl to breed from and was very lucky to get Ella (Champion Artro Brown Beautie) from Barbara Parry of Artro Burmese in early 2005.  Ella had her first litter in 2006 from which I kept Holly (Champion Raweke Brown Holly).   She went on to have anohter litter in early 2007 from which I kept another daughter, Lily (Raweke Serendipity).  Holly had her first litter in 2007 from which I kept a lovely brown girl, Katie (Raweke Mirror Image), and so the story continues....
